What do you Actually Do?
Being an Integrative Psychotherapist means I work with the whole person including mind, body and spirit. I represent a broad range of therapeutic methods as I believe that no one approach has all the answers.
It is my experience that problems can be cured by talking, however, I find it more realistic to think in terms of "change" rather than "cure". Therapy can bring about many changes in your life, but the outcomes will vary according to the nature of your problem, your life circumstances, your commitment to therapy, my expertise as your therapist and the quality of the relationship between us.
How Long?
This can vary a lot. Some people just need a few sessions, or simply an assessment, and never see a therapist again. Others, with more complicated or deep seated problems the process can take longer.
